Thiruvananthapuram Insurance Institute conducted a local seminar on the subject “Role of Youth in Spreading Insurance”. The session commenced at 10:30 AM with the III Anthem. On behalf of the college, Dr. Rahul, Programme Coordinator, M.G. College, welcomed the officials of Thiruvananthapuram Insurance Institute.
The seminar began with an address by Sri Saran M. U., Hon. Secretary, who explained the role of the Insurance Institute of India and the various professional courses offered by the institute.
Following this, Sri Damodharan Potti S., Retired Senior Divisional Manager, Oriental Insurance Company, delivered an informative session on the different types of insurance available under Life Insurance and General Insurance. He highlighted the importance of encouraging youth participation in spreading insurance awareness, the need to promote insurance literacy in society, and the career opportunities available in the insurance sector.
The seminar concluded at 12:30 PM. Smt. Anitha V. K., Hon. Treasurer, Ms. I. Latha, Council Member, III, and Ms. Vijaya M. S. attended the session on behalf of Thiruvananthapuram Insurance Institute.
